Now that we are only 6 days away, the form of all the trial races is known and the fields for the Cheltenham Festival are taking shape. So it’s a good time to post my picks for next week. Some of these are official JPFestival.com ante-post tips and these are indicated with an asterisk and are hyperlinked so you can read the preview. The others are selections I have backed but won’t be counted for tipping record purposes.
My approach is to focus on the non-handicap races which lend themselves to trends and patterns plus more is known about the horses; their likes and dislikes. The selection without asterisks aren’t tips as such but I have backed them. Hopefully you’ll find them of interest and good luck if you follow me in!
