Golden day for team Mullins!

Golden Silver provided one leg of a fabulous four timer for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend at Naas. The duo remain in great form on the run up to the Cheltenham Festival. Golden Silver was sent off the 2/13 favourite in what turned out to be a three runner race for the Grade Two Paddy Power.com Chase; he jumped the last in tandem with Made In Taipan and pulled effortlessly clear by seven lengths. It is looking likely that Golden Silver will line up in the Queen Mother Champion Chase; he does also hold an entry in the Ryanair. Some judges feel that Cheltenham does not suit Golden Silver; in his two previous visits there he was 14th to Forpadydeplasterer in the 2009 Arkle and was 6th to Big Zeb in last year’s Champion Chase. However this season he has been better than ever and is fully entitled to travel to the home of National Hunt Racing in three weeks time.
