It’s been a great week of thrilling finishes, pulsating atmosphere and a masterclass from Ruby Walsh who won a record seven races. Paul Nicholls claimed five victories, another Festival record, and was only a neck away in the Champion Hurdle from winning all four Championship races. It was great to see Kauto Star become the first horse to reclaim the Gold Cup and all credit to the team around him.
Yesterday’s blog selections were both places adding 4.25 points to our total of 4.5 points to give a final total of 8.75 points. Only one winner but that was the NAP, Big Bucks, which followed up last year’s winning NAP.
JP’s Cheltenham Festival Preview blog will return earlier than usual at the start of September 2009 to preview the 2010 Festival.
