Cheltenham Racecourse – 7.00pm
Official Cheltenham Festival Preview sponsored by Sportingbet
Organised by Cheltenham Racecourse in conjunction with Cheltenham and Three Counties Race Club.
Chaired by Times correspondent Alan Lee, the panel includes Gary O’Brien of Attheraces, Lee Mottershead of the Racing Post, Sportingbet.com’s Mick Fitzgerald, Carl Llewellyn, assistant to local hero Nigel Twiston-Davies, Tom Scudamore and trainer Paul Nolan.
Tickets are £8. Doors open at 5.15pm with a start time of 7.00pm. There will be a full bar and snack food available, along with a display of the trophies for all 26 races. There will also be a raffle and auction in aid of Retraining of Racehorses. There are special concessions for signed up members of the Club. If you are a member you will receive a copy of the Racing Post Festival Betting Guide, worth £10 as a complimentary gift. Packed with useful tips and trends, and fresh from the panel’s views, the 26 races will look easy to solve. Presentation by Dave Makin usually preceded by pub dinner from 7.00pm with talk starting at 8.00pm for around 40 minutes. Dave encourages questions and comments during the session.
