Course specialist Midnight Chase proved he had a heart the size of his beloved Cheltenham with his ultra game win in the Listed Handicap Chase. After making a mistake three out, it looked as though he was booked for 2nd place but after a great leap at the last he began to reel in Presenting Forever to an enormous roar from the crowd and passed the line a neck in front.
All roads now lead to March and fully deserved place in the Gold Cup. Midnight Chase will reappear in the Argento Chase on Festival Trials day on 29 Jan after a well deserved month off.
