JPFestival.com started its life in 1998 when Jonathan Pollinger (JP) emailed a few friends in the office with tips for the Cheltenham Festival. The number of recipients increased year on year, as did email replies about dodgy tips! The Cheltenham Festival Preview website was launched in 2007 and the following year was renamed JPFestival.com (from JPFestival). In 2008 the JPFestival.com Flyer newsletter was set up. This was followed in 2009 by a Facebook Page and Twitter account  In 2011 the JPFestival.com Android phone app was launched. In 2012 our YouTube channel was launched and Cheltenham Preview videos were shot at the racecourse and received over 20,000 views in the 10 days before the Festival. From January 2013 weekly Cheltenham Previews were broadcast live on YouTube and JPFestival.com. On 7 March 2013 the first JPFestival.com Cheltenham Preview Evening was held in the Midland Hotel.

On 8 March 2013 the JPFestival.com website was relaunched as a Jumps Racing Community site on a new platform and with a new magazine style design – readers can scroll from top to bottom or left to right and every article has a photo or a video.

On 3 April 2013, we launched our first tipping column – Plays, shortly followed by Lays on 5 April. Unlike may horse racing tipsters we publish all our selections – not just the successful ones! View our Plays record and our Lays record. Find our more about our tipping services and becoming a member.

On 6 March 2014 our Preview Evening took place in Copa, Cheltenham and during Cheltenham Festival 2014 we ‘marked the cards’ of over a 1000 diners each day before the races in Cheltenham Racecourse restaurants.

In the autumn of 2014 we broadcast regular interactive online webinars where jump racing fans enjoyed our previews and asked questions.

In 2015 JP partnered with Oliver Wagner,  a massive jump racing fan who works in racing. to develop JPFestival.com further. We’ve now provide our Free Members with a Saturday Streamer and Community Members with Daily Tips. We also launched on Periscope and Blab – the first horse racing tipster in the world to do so! We are also looking to improve our service for Members and in January 2016 we launched a secret Facebook Group for our Community Members. Find out more about our Membership options.

In August 2016, Josh Perkins of Perky Marketing came on board to join JP in engaging with the racing community via the @JPFestival Twitter account.

In 2017, JPFestival.com started to provide NAPS Of The Day to Community Members thus providing a service every racing day throughout the year, catering for Flat fans as well as Jump fans.

For visitors to JPFestival.com, a panel of top quality journalists and bloggers produce regular previews, tips and reviews on all Horse Racing events including the Cheltenham Festival, Punchestown Festival and Aintree. The website is responsive so works on any device. If you have any problems finding your way around please let us know.
