PN: Zarkander will be ridden by Daryl. Wore blinkers in France. Diff animal post gelding. Jumps great. Surprised by performance at Kempton. Ruby is on Sam Winner. Stays strongly and will be smart chaser next year. Harry Skelton rides Brampour. Paul doesn’t want quick ground for Sam Winner. Not much between Zarkander and Brampour although Zarkander is classy. (interesting from PN re Brampour)
DJ: Zarkander will improve for better going. Gallop was end to end at Kempton. Can’t understand why Grandouet is so short. His mount ticks all the right boxes.
MF: Not a Grandouet fan. (Shocker: Mick Fitz doesn’t fancy a Nicky Henderson horse). Unaccompanied might need cut. Likes Zarkander. Adonis is a good trial.
TS: Tom likes Molotoft – 2nd at Kempton to Zarkander. Really likes Third Intention though. Should like better ground.
